53. East Sussex County Council External Audit Plan 2023/24
53.1 The Cabinet
considered a report by the Chief Finance Officer.
53.2 It was RESOLVED to
approve the External Audit Plan for 2023/24.
Reason
53.3 The External Audit Plan provides an overview of the planned scope and timing of the statutory audit of the Council’s 2023/24 accounts and identifies any significant risks.
54. Internal Audit Strategy and Plan 2024/25
54.1 The Cabinet considered a report by the Chief Operating Officer.
54.2 It was RESOLVED to agree the Council’s Internal Audit Strategy and Annual Audit Plan 2024/25.
Reason
54.3 The Internal Audit Strategy and Annual Plan 2024/25 sets out how the Council will meet its statutory requirements for internal audit.
